Belt Conveyor can be used for horizontal or inclined transportation, which is very convenient to use and widely used in various modern industrial enterprises, such as: conveying and lifting of granules. Belt Conveyor Working Principle

A closed conveyor belt surrounds the drive drum and the idler drum, supported by idlers and tensioned by a tensioning device.
The motor drives the drums via a reducer, and the friction between the drums and the belt drives the belt to circulate.
The material is evenly placed on the belt and moves with the belt to the unloading point, achieving continuous conveying.

Belt Conveyor Performance Characteristics

Advantages: High conveying capacity (up to tens of thousands of tons/hour), long distance (single unit up to several kilometers), stable operation, low noise, simple structure and easy maintenance, low energy consumption (cost 1/5–1/10 of a car), flexible layout (horizontal/inclined/turning).
Limitations: Limited inclination angle (generally ≤30°, large inclination angles require special sidewall belts), susceptible to scratches from sharp materials, high temperature/corrosive environments require special belts.
